Getting there...

I have my line-up ready, I guess. I can still change my mind but this season has been hard to follow after the nominations. I love the nominations but it seems that I don't care about the winners that much anymore. It has been the same for the last couple of years. Next Monday, next season.

* Daniel Day-Lewis in "Lincoln"

Performance by an actor in a supporting role
* Robert De Niro in "Silver Linings Playbook"

If these both will happen, they both will have three Oscars like Meryl. These two are exactly like Meryl. Danny will win, Bobby could. There are so many choices with the supporting actor but I feel that Bobby has the buzz now. I am sure that so many people have been waiting for him to come back with a great performance; and now he is back. There are no words to describe Danny; this will be his third best actor award. And he is worth it. Like always.

Performance by an actress in a supporting role
* Anne Hathaway in "Les Misérables"

Anne Hathaway for sure; there is no competition. I have a feeling that Emmanuelle Riva will win best actress but I still have chosen Jennifer Lawrence as most of people. No guts, no glory.

Achievement in directing
* "Life of Pi" Ang Lee

This could be Steven Spielberg but I have feeling that it will be Ang Lee. Lincoln will win best actor and maybe supporting; therefore there might be something left for Ang Lee. They both have won Oscars and this might be Ang Lee's time again as Lincoln has no special buzz at the moment.

Best motion picture of the year

Well, this could be Crash all over again. This should be Argo as the film is very popular and loved; it has won almost everything. But what happened with Ben Affleck? Why wasn't he nominated? Argo will win if this was just a mistake but is there more? Therefore this could end up just like Crash winning and everyone is disappointed.
