How did I do

Surprisingly the best year ever. It never feels like it, but after counting:

The whole lot: 78/106 - 73,58 %
The big six: 33/35 - 94,28 %
The big eight: 41/45 - 91,11 %

I am pretty sure everyone else got predictions pretty much the same way. Same surprises for everyone but of course there are some who must have predicted even these correctly.

I missed:

  • The Blind Side for Best Picture (Invictus)
  • Maggie Gyllenhaal for Supporting Actress (Julianne Moore)
  • In the Loop for Adapted Screenplay (Crazy Heart)
  • The Messenger for Original Screenplay (500 days of Summer)
  • The Secret of Kells for Animated Feature (Cloudy Chance of Meatballs)
  • The Most Dangerous Man in America and Which Way Home for Documentary Feature
  • Ajami and the Milk of Sorrow for Foreign Language Film
  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for Cinematography
  • The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Nine, Sherlock Holmes, The Young Victoria for Art Direction
  • Coco before Chanel and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus for Costume Design
  • Inglourious Basterds and Precious for Editing
  • Il Divo and The Young Victoria for Makeup
  • Inglourious Basterds for Sound Mixing
  • Inglourious Basterds and Up for Sound Editing
  • Fantastic Mr. Fox and the Hurt Locker for Original Score
